Why are girls always like that? But it’s true, right? They are.

When you pour water over the rocks in the corner they sizzle and then a wave of heat comes across the room and the reddish ceiling light flickers. The air’s thick and when you inhale you feel almost like it has a shape, like you could feel the weight of the air on your tongue, pressing up against the roof of your mouth.  If you stay in long enough you get a little dizzy but also start to feel like you’re melting. It’s dark and on the other side of the glass you can see little kids trooping past in their bathing suits, dripping.
